Organise your next doubles session.

Start with the practical details: how many people are coming, how many courts are available, and exactly when play must start and finish.

1. Set the session shape

Enter the start and end time and choose the number of rounds. Dink & Mix calculates a consistent match length after subtracting your chosen breaks between rounds (two minutes by default). No break is added after the last round. If the games become too short, use fewer rounds.

2. Let the group determine court use

Doubles needs four players per court. You can enter every available court; the planner activates only what the group needs. Remaining players rest and rotate back in.

3. Add the roster

Add player rows in the Men and Women columns. The roster determines the headcount automatically. Blank names use Player 1, Player 2 and so on. When you are ready, choose Create matchups to calculate the schedule.

4. Explain the format

Tell everyone when each round ends, where the court numbers are, and how resting players find their next match. The rotation balances playing time and reduces repeats, but it does not seed by ability.

5. Record scores

Choose regular (side-out) or rally scoring before creating matchups. Record each court’s final team scores when time ends and select Save match result. Ties count as draws. The summary ranks players by most wins, then fewest losses. Only completed matches count.

6. Take it courtside

Download the PDF for the dashboard, standings, recorded scores, court sheets, player cards, check-in and organiser notes. Your session saves automatically for a later visit in the same browser. Reset clears it and returns to setup.
